Ever since they remodeled, I've been dying to try this place, since I pass by it everyday on my way to the office! We finally came on a busy Saturday night and I can't wait to come back. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was so cool. The food was delicious as was the drinks we ordered, and it came quick. It was full on a Saturday night and the weather was just perfect. Can't wait to return.

This place has definitely changed for the better. My family and I spent the evening enjoying their new menu and amazing hookahs, two things we are really picky about. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff, they were super friendly, attentive, and accommodating. They fully remodeled the place and it looks stunning. My family and I will be back for sure!

If you are looking for authentic Middle Eastern food, this is the best place you will find in San Diego! I promise you! They have a full bar and they're open for lunch and night life events, they have hookah, live bands, live singers...

Great food and atmosphere! The chicken, kabobs, hummus,salmon, were amazing. The owner was really nice and we will go back for sure. Live music every Sunday evening too. I'm Italian, only had this type of food a couple times, and this was so good...

I am very impressed at what Charcoal House managed to accomplish. They recently got new owners and the whole place is remodeled and it is a completely different place. This is now my favorite place to go in San Diego, hands down...

Reservations are always recommended! They have live artists almost every night. The music is very loud, and it's hard to hear people at your table. The service is not bad. It took a while to get to us, but once they took the orders they were fast. Only bottled water is available. The cocktails aren't strong.. the dishes is expensive but plentiful, so you do get your money's worth. And it was all tasty. If you have a large party you can have one of the side spaces, and could do a little dancing.

I've been here for lunch twice now. The food is excellent. I am only deducting a star because service is a little slow. Both times I've been here for lunch, the place is empty. They should really advertise more for lunch. Really enjoy this place. Good for large groups.
